I guess anyone considering the speakers would plan to hang them somewhere.
The brackets are aluminum so be careful and DO NOT over tighten the screws.
Machine screws were used that apply enough pressure when clamped to hold the speaker in place.
The inside of the clamp might damage whatever your attaching the speaker to....in my case a chrome light bar so to avoid scratching a quick wrap with electrical tape did the trick.
