I believe I am getting a better image with this transducer compared with what came with my unit. I wish this transducer had came with the unit instead of the transom mount one. Would highly recomend this transducer.

This unit must have a hole drilled through the bottom of your boat. Make sure your boar does not have any brace or any type of re-enforcment in the area you are drilling. The unit makes it easy to keep the transducer level when you are installing. Use care in cutting the plastic block keep it very smooth and use a good type sealant both outside and inside of the boat. The unit works fine.
